Aberdeen midfielder Luis Ferguson has moved to Bologna for £3m. The Scottish national team moved to the Dons four years ago, scoring 37 goals in 169 appearances and winning four overall Scottish matches.
Scottish midfielder Louis Ferguson has completed a move from Aberdeen to Bologna.
Dons has confirmed that the 22-year-old has been transferred to the Serie A club for £3m (£2.1m upfront, £900,000 extra).

Aberdeen manager Jim Goodwin said: “We are going to be an attractive choice for young players who know they can come here to spend important game time, train in excellent facilities and have the opportunity to develop further. I want to be a club that can do it.
“Lewis was a fantastic player at Aberdeen. He has become an integral part of the dressing room in recent seasons and has been given the right to explore other options.
“The club has greatly helped his development. He played many impressive first team matches at the same age not only in Korea but also in Europe, and recently made his national team debut.
“There is no doubt that Lewis has chosen to go abroad and has acted bravely to face the challenges of football in other countries, but I am confident he will succeed.”
Bologna sold fellow Scottish international Aaron Hickey to Premier League Brentford earlier this summer.
Aberdeen’s Fixtures: Celtic Away Live on Sky on Opening Day
Aberdeen will kick off their Scottish Premiership campaign against current champions Celtic on 31 July, broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Jim Goodwin, who finished 10th last season, will continue their trip to Celtic Park from St. Mirren to Pitodry on Saturday, August 6th.
The Dons then host St Mirren on August 13th and travel to St Johnstone on August 20th.
Aberdeen’s last game before the 2022 Qatar World Cup winter break will be a home match against Dundee United on 12 November.
The Rangers go to Pitodry in their last game before the split on April 22nd. Aberdeen’s first fixture against the Rangers is also a home game on September 10th, moving to Ibrox on October 29th.
After their opening day match at Celtic Park, the Dons will return to Celtic Park on February 18th after playing for the champions at Pittodrie on December 17th when the Scottish Premiership resumes.
