Panthers premiership winner Paul Momirovski is returning to the Sydney Roosters. The Roar can reveal the Penrith ace is on the verge of inking a three-year deal which should be finalised this week. Having made his NRL debut for the Tricolours back in 2018, the 25-year-old returns with 38 games to his name and a grand final win under his belt. It’s a timely signing for the club with the retirement of the Morris twins, Josh and Brett, while fringe outside back Dale Copley has also hung up the boots. Momirovski was recently granted permission to find a new home for 2022 with the Panthers feeling the salary cap pinch as they fight to keep the bulk of their roster together beyond next season. With the Roosters eager to reunite with Momirovski, the club could not deny him the chance to secure his longterm future. What the move also does is gives the Roosters another goal kicker.
